Harbor

Will my notebooks and tags survive the import?

Yes. Your organization is the part of your account you’ve put the most years into, so the importer treats it carefully.

Notebooks and stacks come across as notebooks and stacks. Harbor organizes exactly the way Evernote does — notes live in notebooks, notebooks group into stacks — so there’s nothing to re-learn and nothing gets flattened into one big pile.

Tags come across and stay attached to their notes. Harbor’s tags are hierarchical, nesting up to three levels deep, and you can drag a tag to re-parent it — so if your Evernote tag tree was a little chaotic, this is a nice moment to tidy it.

After the import, everything behaves like it was born in Harbor: notebooks show note counts, tags filter from the sidebar, and search understands your structure — notebook:Receipts tag:2024 works the way you’d expect. See What search operators does Harbor support?

If your structure ever looks wrong after an import, that’s a bug to us. Email help@harbor.my and we’ll dig in.
