Which version of Harbor am I running?

On a Mac: the Harbor menu, then About Harbor. It shows something like Version 1.0.20 (1787351709) — the first number is the one people mean, and the one in brackets is the exact build. Paste both if you’re reporting a bug.

Everywhere else it’s under About in settings:

• iPhone — the More tab, then Settings, then scroll to About.
• iPad — Settings in the sidebar, then scroll to About.
• Android — the More tab, then Settings, then scroll to About.
• Windows — click your account at the bottom of the sidebar, choose Settings…, then About. Ctrl+, opens Settings too.
• The Harbor CLI — harbor --version.

Why you’d want to know

Two reasons, and they’re the same reason really.

To check whether a fix has reached you. When we fix something you reported, the version number is how you tell the difference between “it’s fixed” and “it’s fixed for me.” Those aren’t always the same day — on a Mac especially, where the App Store build trails the direct download by however long App Review takes.

To tell us when something’s wrong. It’s the single most useful thing to put in a bug report. Version plus platform usually tells us in one line whether we’re looking at a known bug, an already-fixed one, or something new.

Which Mac build do I have?

Worth knowing alongside the version, because it changes how you update.

Open the Harbor menu and look for Check for Updates…

• It’s there → the direct download from harbor.my.
• It isn’t → the Mac App Store build.
