Which browsers does the Web Clipper support?
The Web Clipper supports Chrome, Edge, Firefox, and Safari — all four at launch.
It’s one extension codebase built for all of them, so you get the same clipper everywhere: the same four capture formats, the same annotation tools, the same save flow. If you clip in Chrome at work and Safari at home, nothing changes but the browser chrome around it.
However you like to trigger things, the clipper is there:
- Toolbar button — click the anchor.
- Right-click menu — clip from the page’s context menu.
- Keyboard — a hotkey for people who never touch the mouse.
Everything you clip is filed as you save it — pick the notebook, add tags on the fly, attach a comment — and lands in Harbor as a normal note that syncs to all your devices. See What can I clip with the Web Clipper? for the capture formats, and Can I annotate and redact web clips? for the markup tools.
Links to each browser’s extension store are on the download page.
